-
You can pay our prompt pay rates of $225 for the initial session and $110 for follow-up sessions. We accept all major credit cards, including FSA/HSA cards.
If we are not in-network with your plan and you have out-of-network benefits, you can pay us up front and we'll give you a superbill that you can submit to your insurance plan for reimbursement.
-
Our dietitians are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, and United Healthcare insurance plans. We are also in-network with Medicare, which only covers renal (kidney) disease and diabetes diagnoses. Please note that Medicare does not cover pre-diabetes.
-
Most plans do not require a referral, except for Medicare. For some plans, having a second referral in the same calendar year can get you more visits.

We kindly ask that you call the member services phone line located on the back of your insurance card to determine your coverage. To assist you, you can download a script to follow [here]. Be sure to always get a reference number before hanging up with the insurance representative. If you have any questions about coverage we are happy to help.

A credit card on file is required for copayment, coinsurance, and/or deductible payment if they apply. Additionally, the card on file is required in compliance with our no-show/late cancellation policy. Appointments that are unattended or changed without 24 hours' notice will result in a $50 fee, charged to your card on file.

Booking an appointment online is the quickest way to start working with your dietitian. You can view the openings and request an appointment [here].
-
The onboarding process is quick and easy. Once the appointment is booked, we will send you access to our HIPAA-compliant portal where you can upload your insurance information, and review and sign our digital nutrition intake form and practice policy forms. This step must be completed at least 48 hours before your scheduled visit to allow your dietitian time to review your information. Any scheduled appointments with missing paperwork 48 hours before the appointment will be canceled and made available to patients on the waitlist for that week.
-
Due to our high patient load, there is limited time for communication between sessions. You can contact your dietitian through the messaging function inside the patient portal. For quick questions, the dietitian may respond promptly. Longer questions will be addressed at your next follow-up. For urgent matters, you can either book a follow-up appointment or contact the office.
